Given x=c1/2d1/2a3b2

On taking log and differentiating, we get

xΔx =3aΔa  +2bΔb  +(21)cΔc  +(21)dΔd 

⇒ Percentage error in x=3(1)+2(3)+21(4)+21(2)=12%
