Answer:

Correct answer is D.

Step-by-step explanation:

Lets assume the remaining money after buying the notebook is X.

So, 20% of X = 12

Hence, X= Rs 60 which is the remaining money after buying the notebook.

He pays 1\5th of his money for buying the  notebook and the remaining money after he bought the notebook was Rs 60.

Now lets assume the total money spent was Y.

So, 4/5th of Y = 60

Therefore Y= Rs 75 which is the total money spent before he lost the wallet.

Answer: None of these

Step-by-step explanation:

Let’s assume the remaining money after buying the notebooks is X.

So, 25% of X = 12

X = 1200/25

Hence, X = 48. So, the money after buying the notebooks is 48 Rs.

4/5th of Y = 48

Y = 60

The remaining money in his wallet is Rs. 60 which was lost.
