Girls =18
A.T.Q.60% of x= 18
60/100*x=18
x=18*100/60
x=30
Total student =30
girls=18
boys=12

let the students be x

60 % of x = 18 ( no of girls )

so , by forming equations ,

⇒ 60x/100 = 18

⇒60x = 18*100

⇒x=1800/60 = 30 ------- total students

Hence, no of boys = total-no of girls = 30 - 18 = 12
