Amount of money needed will be Rs.457

Given:- Cost of 7 loaves of bread = Rs.135

Cost of 6 tins of milk = Rs.132

To find:- Amount of money for 10 loaves of bread and 12 tins of milk

Formula used:- Using unitary method

Cost of x item = Cost of 1 item * x

Solution:-

Cost of 7 loaves of bread = Rs.135

Cost of 1 loaf of bread = Rs. \frac{135}{7}= 19.28

Cost of 10 loaves of bread = Rs.19.28 * 10 = 192.8 (rounding off)

Cost of 10 loaves of bread = Rs.193

Cost of 6 tins of milk = Rs.132

Cost of 1 tin of milk = Rs. \frac{132}{6} = 22

Cost of 12 tins of milk = Rs.22 * 12 = 264

Cost of 12 tins of milk = Rs.264

Amount of money for 10 loaves of bread and 12 tins of milk = 193 + 264

Amount of money for 10 loaves of bread and 12 tins of milk is Rs.457
