a piece of a thin wire in the form of equilateral triangle of side 3.14dm is bent into ring with no loss in wire. find the diameter of the ring.​

Since 1dm =10cm

Perimeter of eql. triangle =3×3.14 dm

or (3×314)cm

= 942cm

so, perimeter of circle (πd) will be = 942cm

=> πd =942cm

=> d =942/3.14

=> d = 300cm

=> d =3m

so, the diameter of ring = 3m
