A piece of chalk can be broken into small particles by hammering but a piece of iron cannot be broken into small particles by hammering. Which property of matter is illustrated by this observation?

a piece of chalk can be broken into pieces with hammering because of its less intermolecular force of attraction between particles....but iron has more intermolecular force of attraction between it's particles so u cannot break iron into pieces
