Answer:

A piece of cheese is cut in the shape of a sector of a circle of radius 6cm. The thickness of the cheese is 7cm.

Find:

1)The curved surface area of the cheese.

2)The volume of the cheese piece.

Length of arc = θ/360 × 2πr

Length of arc = 60/ 360 ×2×3.14×6=

Length of arc= 6.28

∴ Area of rectangle =l×b

=7×6.28

Area of rectangle =43.96=44cm ^2
