shrink percentage  = 10%

TO FIND:

length of cloth after washing

FORMULA USED:

=$\frac{P}{100}*x$

SOLUTION:

length used = $\frac{10}{100}*5$

                 =   $\frac{50}{100}$

                 =   $\frac{1}{2}$

                 =0.5 m

∴ length of cloth after washing = 5 - 0.5

                                                  = 4.5 m
