So, volume of metal piece = volume of wire

volume of cylinder = volume of cylinder

22/7×(1/2)^2×5 = 22/7×(1/20)^2×h

22/7×1/4×5 = 22/7×1/400×h

110/28 = 22/2800×h

110/28×2800/22=h

5×100=h

h= 500cm.
