A piece of equipment of mass 5kg was put on a shelf. It had to be lifted from the floor to a height of 3m.If it took 3s to do the lifting: I)how much work was done? II)what power was used? III)how much potential energy does the equipment possess at that level relative to the floor? Use g=[10m/s^2]

I) the work done will be equal to the gain in potential energy by the equipment

Therefore W=mgh

W=5×3×10(g) =150j

Power =W/time

150/3=50watt

Potential energy =mgh

5×10×3 =150j

Hope it help u
