A piece of gold weighs 350 gf in air and 300 gf when fully submerged in water. The density of water is 1 g/cm3. What is the volume of the gold piece?

. weight of the body in water=300gf

Loss of weight =350-300gf=50gf

upthrust of the body = loss in weight of the body = 50 gf

upthrust = V dg
