A piece of iron heated in a flame it first becomes a dull red then become reddish yellow and finally turns to White Hot.
==================================☆

After hitting the iron it gets reaction with oxygen found in air so it's turned colour to dull red. And after that this is because when iron oxide is form.

then on heated gives
(Fe2+ )+( 1/2)O2

and this indicate that here is a loss of two electrons.

Which move to the interstitial site of the Crystal (Interstitial sites are the spaces which are found inside the lattice ).
then this electrons absorbs some part of the light and
and after that as the temperature increases its change into reddish yellow and finally turns into white hot.
