Density of body = fraction of body in liquid x density of water

=( 1 — 1/3) x 1 = 2/3

Density of liquid = density of body / fraction of body in liquid

= 2 / 3 ÷ 1 / 4

= 2 x4 / 3 x 1

= 8 / 3

= 2.67
