Mg is more reactive than Cu
so Mg can displace Cu from its salt CuSO4
but Cu is less reactive than Mg
SO Cu cannot replace Mg from MgSO4

Answer.

••Magnesium is more reactive than copper so it reacts with copper sulphate solution.

•• But, Copper is less reactive than magnesium, so it does not displace magnesium from its solution. Therefore, Copper metal does not react with magnesium sulphate solution.
