The metal will reach the ground first as metals usually have greater density and mass than non metal so non metal will feel more air resistance as it is lighter.

Answer:

Both metal and non-metallic objects will hit the ground at the same time.

Explanation:

According to the Newton law equation

h=ut+1/2gt^2

The initial velocity(u) is zero and both the objects are dropped from the same height so according to this equation, distance 'S' is equal to ut plus half squared which gives both objects same time to fall on the ground.
