A piece of metal of density 7.8x100^3 kg/m^3 and volume 100 cm^3 is totally immersed in water. Calculate: 1) The weight of metal in air. 2)the upthrust 3) apparent weight in water.

1) weight =mass × gravity
w= 7.8×10
w=78 kg
