Answer:

cut resistance is=1/4 ,1/4 ,1/4,1/4

when connected in parallel

then resistance.=1/1/4+1/1/4+1/1/4+1/1/4= 4+4+4+4=16 ohm and original resistance is 1 ohm so

r/r,= 1/16 SO 1:16

THIS IS THE ANSWER

Answer:

R : R' = 16 : 1

mark it as brainliest

Explanation:

Given,

Resistance: R ohm

According to question, the wire is cut into 4 equal parts hence the resistance of each part becomes:

=> R/4 ohm (use formula or R=ρL/A)

These wires are connected in parallel. Hence,

=> 1/R' = 4/R + 4/R + 4/R + 4/R

=> 1/R' = 16/R

=> R/R' = 16

=> R : R' = 16 : 1
