A piece of paper and a coin are dropped from the same height simultaneously. The peice of paper when in the open state have much more surface area than in the case in which it is crumpled,As we know that the Buoyant force(a property exerted by fluid) depends upon The surface area.Therefore more surface area will result in more buoyant force and the Paper will take time to reach tge surface than compared to when it is crumpled
