Answer:

Area of remaining piece=(Area of total paper

— Area of triangle)

=(l × b) - (1/2 b×h)

=(30×20) -(1/2×10×15)

=600-75

=525

hence area of remaining piece of paper=525

Answer:

Area of Remaining piece of paper is 525 cm².

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: Length of paper = 30 cm

Width of the paper = 20 cm

Length of the base of the triangle = 15 cm

Height of the triangle = 10 cm

To find: Area of the remaining paper when triangle is cut from it.

Area of paper = length × width

                       = 30 × 20

                       = 600 cm²

Area\:of\:triangle=\frac{1}{2}\times base\times height

                                  =\frac{1}{2}\times15\times10

                                  =15\times5

                                  =75\:cm^2

Area of remaining paper = 600 - 75 = 525 cm²

Therefore, Area of Remaining piece of paper is 525 cm².
