A piece of paper take much longer to fall than a stone through the same distance. Explain the reason.

the time of falling of any particle is depend on its speed and speed is depend on its kinetic energy we know that potential energy converted into kinetic energy in paper the mass is less in comparison to any other substance so it has less potential energy so it has less kinetic energy so it takes much time in comparison to any other solid substance
