A piece of rope 20 feet long is cut from a longer piece that is at least 32 feet long. The remainder is cut into four pieces of equal length. How would you describe the length of each of the four pieces?

After cutting a rope of 20 feet, the length of the remaining rope = (32-20) feet

                                                                                                           = 12 feet.

So, the length of each equal rope cut extracted the remaining rope=(12/4) feet

                                                                                                                  = 3 feet

(Ans): 3 feet.
