A piece of rope k meters long is cut into 8 parts.If the length of each part is 5.50 meters ,find the length of the whole rope.

length of whole rope = k

no of parts rope cut into = 8

length of each part = 5.50

lenght of whole rope = length of a part × 8

k = 5.50 × 8

k = 44

,hence length of whole rope is 44m.
