Given:

Solid weighs 5 kgf in air

4 kgf in a liquid

3 kgf in water

To Find:

Relative Density of Liquid

Solution:

Relative Density of Liquid = Density Of liquid/ Density of water

      Weight of Solid(W)= 5*g N and,

Buoyant Force by liquid = F

Buoyant Force by water = f

Therefore, W-F= 4*g

F= g

Similarly, W-f= 3*g

Therefore, f= 2g

Now, Buoyant force= Volume Submerged* Density of liqiud *g

So,   F/f= Relative Density   = g/2g= 0.5
