a) a square

Ans) length of string = 120cm

= 120÷4= 30cm ( cause a square has 4 sides , we have to divide 120 by 4 )

b) an equilateral triangle

Ans) length is string

= 120÷3=60cm ( cause a equilateral triangle has 3 sides , we have to divide 120 by 3 )

c) a regular pentagon

Ans) length of string = 120cm

= 120÷5=24cm ( cause a pentagon has 5 sides , we have to divide 120 by 5 )

d) a regular hexagon

Ans) length of string = 120cm

= 120÷6=20cm ( cause a hexagon has 6 sides , we have to divide 120 by 6 )
