Answer:

suppose the total perimeter of the square is 30

and we know that perimeter of square is 4 ×side

so 4× side = 30

= s=30÷4 (as when we transfer multiply changes to divide

so 1 st is 7.5

2nd also same process but instead taking 4 take 3 as all three sides are equal in equilateral triangle

and hexagon as 6 so divide it by 6

Answer:

Here's your answer

The string length is the perimeter of the shape.

For each case, perimeter= 30 cm

i) Square

A square has all the sides

Side of square = perimeter/4

= 30/4

= 7.5cm

ii) Equilateral Triangle

An equilateral triangle has three equal sides

Perimeter= 3×(side)

side = Perimeter/3

= 30/3

= 10 cm

iii) Regular hexagon

A regular hexagon has six equal sides.

Perimeter= 6×(side)

side = perimeter/6

= 30/6

= 5 cm
