The line is divided in to two parts with the ratio 4:3

Lets take the value x and then calculate the total length of each part.

Line is divides into two part 4x and 3x.

The length of line is 35 cm.

4x+ 3x = 35,

Now solve the algebric equation,

7x = 35,

x= 35/7,

x= 5,

We calculate the value of x,

Now put the value of x, in 4x and 3x

4x,

4*5 = 20 cm,

3x,

3*5=15 cm,

So the length of each part is 20cm and 15cm
