density will be less than 1 as density of Vax is less therefore density of x will be less than 1

Answer:

Explanation:

If the density of an object is lower than the density of liquid, then the object will float.

If the density of an object is greater than the density of liquid, then the object will sink.

Let the relative density be as follows :-

Wax - R1

Liquid - R2

Water - 1

Since wax floats in water, R1 < 1  .... (1)

Since wax sinks in liquid, R1 > R2 .... (2)

So based on 1 & 2, the relative density of liquid X will be less than 1.
