Answer: A) Let The No.Be X

Given Ratio 3:5

Therefore, 3x+5x=40

8x=40

x=40/8

x=5

3x=3x5=15

5x=5x5=25

Hence, The  Length of each part is 15 cm and 25 cm.

B) Cost Of 6 Packs Of Pencils= Rs.60

Cost Of 1 Pack Of Pencil= 60/6=10

No.of Packs We Can Buy In Rs.300=300/10=30

Hence, We Can Buy 30 Packs Of Pencils For Rs.300.

C) Weight Of 15 Identical Books=9 Kg

Weight Of 1 Identical Book= 9/15 Kg

Weight Of 45 Such Books= 45x 9/15 = 27

Hence, The Weight Of 45 Such Books Is 27 Kg.

D) Given Ratio Of A And B Age = 6:5

Let The Age Of B Be x

6:5=18:x (Equating Both The Sides)

6/5 = 18/x

6x = 90

x= 90/6

x=15

Hence, The Age Of B Is 15 Years.
