- Total length of the wire = ⅞ metres
- First peice length = ¼ metres
- Second peice length = X metres
So equation will be like this :–
X + ¼ = ⅞ metres
X = ⅞ – ¼ metres
X = ⅝ metres
So, the length of the second peice is ⅝ or 0.625 metres.
PLZ MARK MY ANSWER BRAINLIEST. IT WOULD BE A GREAT HELP FOR ME :)
