A piece of wire 8/9 m long broke into two pieces . One piece was 5/6 m long .How long is the other piece?

Answer: Length of the other piece= length of original wire - length of one piece

∴ length of other piece= 8/9 - 5/6

LCM= 54

∴ Length= 48-45/54 = 3/54 = 1/8 m
