A wire is formed in rectangle then the same wire us used to form a circle . Which means the perimeter and circumference of circle will ne same.

Given:-

  • Length of rectangle = 8.9 cm
  • Breadth of rectangle = 54mm

To find:-

  • Radius of the circle in mm.

Solution:-

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2( length +breadth)

➥ 2×(89 +54)cm

________________[ °.° 8.9 cm=8.9×10mm=8.9m]

➥2× 143 mm

➥286 mm

  • Circumference of circle =2πr= 286 mm

➥2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times r = 286

➥r = \frac{286 \times 7}{2 \times 22} = 45.5 \: mm

Hence the radius of circle is 45.5 mm .

Step-by-step explanation:

Learn more:-

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length +breadth)
  • Perimeter of triangle =sum of all sides
  • Perimeter of square =4×side
  • Circumference of circle =2πr
