the formula for circumference of the circle = 2 \pi r

since the wire is being rebent the length of the wire will be the same:
2 × r = d

∴ Circumference = π × d = 26.4

                        = \frac{22}{7} X d = 26.4\\ d = \frac{7 X 26.4}{22}

∴ d = 7 × 1.2 = 8.4 cm
