A piece of wire is bent in the shape of an equilateral triangle of side 4.4cm. If this wire is rebent to form of a circle, find radius of the circle.

  • AREA AND PERIMETER

\huge\boxed{\mathfrak{\underline{\underline{\blue{\star ANSWER}}}}}

GIVEN THAT,

Side of equilateral triangle = 4.4cm.

AS, P OF EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE = 3×SIDE.

=> P=3×4.4

=> P=13.2 cm

  • AS, THE SAME WIRE IS REBENT, THE PERIMETER WILL BE SAME.

NOW, PERIMETER OF EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE = CIRCUMFERENCE OF CIRCLE.

=> 13.2 cm = 2 × {\pi} × r.

=> 13.2 cm = {\frac{44r}{7}}.

=> 44r = 13.2 × 7.

=> 44r = 92.4 cm.

\boxed{\green{\therefore r={\frac{92.4}{44}}= 2.1 cm}}

\large{\orange{\mathcal{Final\:Answer: Radius\:Of\:Circle=2.1cm}}}
