Step-by-step explanation:

length of circle 52

Breath of circle 36

Length of wire 2×(36+52)

2× pi×r = 176

2×22/7×r = 176

(176)(7/44)

Therfore R is 28 cm.

To find : radius of circle .

Given : length  and breadth

Solution :

  • According to question we are given that length and breadth of rectangle, wire is 52\ cm and 36\ cm  respectively. We have to find radius of circle formed by bending rectangular wire .
  • We find perimeter of rectangular wire using  following formula  Perimeter of rectangle wire = 2( l + b )
  • Substituting the values we get,
  • Perimeter of rectangle wire  =2 ( 52 + 36 ) cm

                                                        = 2 \times 88cm \\= 176\ cm

  • Now, circumference of circle = perimeter of rectangle wire
  • Therefore ,on  substituting the values we get ,

         2\ \pi\ r = 176 \ cm \\2\times 3.14\times r = 176\\r = \frac{176}{6.28} \\r = 28.025 \ cm

Hence, radius of circle is 28.025\ cm .
