A piece of wire of resistance 6ohms is connected to a battery of 12V. Find the amount of current flowing through it. Now, the same wire is redrawn by stretching it to double it's length, find the resistance of the new (redrawn) wire.

12V= 6*I
12/6= I
I = 2 A
Resistance is directly proportional to the length.
So, of length is doubled, resistance will also be doubled and it will become 12 ohm.
