equivalent resistant will be

1/R =5/R +5/R +5/R +5/R +5/ R

so, R=R/25

If a resistance cut into n equal part then resistance of one resistor is = R/n

hence ,

resistance of all 5 resistor = R/5

all connected in parallel hence equivalent resistance 1/R1 = 1/R/5 + `1/R/5 + 1/R/5 + 1/R/5 + 1/R/5

1/R1 = 25/R

R/R1 =25

Let the length of resistance R be L

Let the resistance of each part after cutting be R

Since resistance is proportional to the length of the resistor,

For resistors in parallel

1/R1+1/R2

By solving we get
