we will use the formula (m1×d1)/(w1)= (m2×d2) /(w2)
and according to the question we have
let
men m1= 315
months d1 = 16
w1 should be w1= piece of work 1
m2=x
d2=18
w1=1
(m1×d1)/(w1)= (m2×d2) /(w2)
(315*16)/(1)= (X*18)/(1)
5040=18X
X=5040/18
X=280
so 280 man required to complete same peace of work in 18 months
