→ Total time taken = 300 seconds.
So,
→ Average velocity = (Total displacement) / (Total Time taken) = (-10)/300 = (-1/30) = -(0.033) m/s . { Negative sign shows that, direction is in backward.}
Now,
→ Total distance covered by pig = 20m + 5 m + 25m = 50m..
→ Total time taken = 300 seconds.
So,
→ Average Speed = (Total distance) / (Total Time taken) = (50/300) = (1/6) = (0.166) m/s. (Ans.)
