Solution :-

Let the number of 10₹ notes be x and 50₹ notes be y

then,

According to Question :-

• Total money = 370₹
• No of 10₹ notes = 50₹ notes + 1

• x = y + 1. ----(1)

So,

• 10×No of 10₹ + 50 × No of 50₹ notes = ₹370

➮ 10x + 50y = 370. ---(2)

➮ 10(y + 1) + 50y = 370. --(from -1)

➮ 10y + 10 + 50y = 370

➮ 60y = 370 - 10

➮ 60y = 360

➮ y = 360/60

➮ y = 6
