Answer:

There are 14 P1 coins in the Piggy Bank

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us Suppose no. of 10c coins be x

No. of P1 coins = y = 5 + x

No. of 25c coins = z = 3*x

Total coins in the Piggy Bank = 50

According to the given Conditions,

50 = x + y + z

50 = x + 5 + x + 3*x

50 = 5 + 5x

Dividing the equation by 5,

10 = 1 + x

x = 10 -1

x = 9   [therefore, No. of 10c coins = 9]

No. of P1 coins = 5 + x

                         = 5 + 9

                         = 14
