Let the number of Rs 2 coins = x

Therefore, the numbers of Rs 5 coins = 2x

Since, the total number of coins are 100.

Therefore, the number of Rs 10 coins = 100-(x+2x)

= 100-3x

Total amount = Rs 460

2(x) + 5(2x) + 10(100-3x) = 460

2x + 10x + 1000 - 30x = 460

12x - 30x + 1000 = 460

-18x = 460 - 1000

-18x = -540

x = 30

Therefore, the number of coins of Rs 2 = x = 30

The number of coins of Rs 5 = 2x = 60

The number of coins of Rs 10 = 100 - 3x

=  100- (3 \times 30)

= 10.

Therefore, there are 30 coins of Rs 2, 60 coins of Rs 5 and 10 coins of Rs 10.

Answer: Let the number of Rs 2 coins = x

Therefore, the numbers of Rs 5 coins = 2x

Since, the total number of coins are 100.

Therefore, the number of Rs 10 coins = 100-(x+2x)

= 100-3x

Total amount = Rs 460

2(x) + 5(2x) + 10(100-3x) = 460

2x + 10x + 1000 - 30x = 460

12x - 30x + 1000 = 460

-18x = 460 - 1000

-18x = -540

x = 30

Therefore, the number of coins of Rs 2 = x = 30

The number of coins of Rs 5 = 2x = 60

The number of coins of Rs 10 = 100 - 3x

=

= 10.

Therefore, there are 30 coins of Rs 2, 60 coins of Rs 5 and 10 coins of Rs 10.
