Step-by-step explanation:

heregiven that total number of coins be 210 rupees.

Let number of 5 rupees be x

number of 10 rupees be 210-x

so according to the question

number of 5 rupees= 4 times the number of 10 rupees so,x=4(210-x)

x=840-4x

x+4x=840

5x=840

x=840/5

x=168

therefore number of 5 rupees= 168

now number of 10 rupees be210-x

=210-168=42

therefore number of 5 rupees=168 and 10 rupees=42
