bcoz pin's density is more than water so, it sinks.
Whereas in honey,pin's density is less than honey. So, it floats on water.

honey is more denser then water therefore when we put a pin on water the density of pin is more than that of water so it sinks but when we put a pin on honey the density of pin is less than that of honey so it floats
