A pit 5.5 m long, 2.4 m broad, and 1 m deep is dug. Find the volume of the earth dug out of the pit.​

volume = breadth x length x height

volume = 2.4 m x 5.5 m x 1 m

to find out the product, we have to convert them all into cm so that it is easier to multiply them (without decimals)

1m = 100cm

2.4 m = 240cm

5.5m = 550cm

1m = 100cm
