THE LENGTH OF A CUBOID=7.5m
THE WIDTH OF A CUBOID =6m
THE HEIGHT OF A CUBOID =1.5m

VOLUME OF CUBOUD
=(LENGTH×BREADTH×HEIGHT)

=(7.5×6×1.5)m^3

=67.5m^3

Given :

A pit 7.5 metre long, 6 metre wide and 1.5 metre deep is dug in a field

To Find :

Find the volume of soil removed in cubic metres.

Solution:

Length of pit = 7.5 m

Breadth of pit = 6 m

Depth of pit = 1.5 m

Volume of pit = Length \times Breadth \times Height

Volume of pit = 7.5 \times 6 \times 1.5

Volume of pit = 67.5

Hence the volume of soil removed in cubic metres is 67.5 cubic m
