the volume of the pit is equal to the earth spread on the field
therefore,
the volume of pit is 6m³.
now,
for the remaining field
volume of the field+volume of the earth digged from the pit will help us in finding the new volume.
therefore,
4x5x6 +6= new volume
126 m³ is the new volume found.
since only the height is increased, the length and the breath will remain the same
therefore,
4 x 5 x new H = 126
new H = 6.3m

therefore the height increased is 6.3-6 that is 0.3 m
