The centre of Gravity of any body is always at its centre acting downwards ....Center of gravity of a body is the point where the weight of body acts as a whole. The center of gravity shifts towards the side with greater mass. Hence the location of center of gravity of a solid body depends on the distribution of mass i.e. geometrical shape & size etc.
