A pizza of radius 10.5 cm is cut diametrically into six equal slices. Find the angle at the centre of each slice, and its area.

=> If it is divided into 6 equal sectors (slices), angle at the center of each

slice = 360/6

       = 60°

Area of a sector  =  (central angle/360) ×πr²

= 60/360 ×22/7× 10.5× 10.5

=1/6× 22× 1.5× 10.5

= 1/3 ×11/7× 10.5× 10.5

=  1 ×11× 0.5× 10.5

= 57.75cm²
