A place is located at 20° N latitude and 30° E longitude. It is noon at 30° W. How are the rays of the sun falling at this place?

I wrote…

They aren't. If it is local noon at 30W it is midnight at 30E. Since 20N is below the Tropic of Cancer therer should be no sunlight visible at all.

Kind of a cute trick question

In fact , these locations are only 60 degrees apart not the 180 degrees my answer assumed.
