To solve this. think of it as a simple right triangle. One line of the triangle points south, and the other side line of the triangle points west. the hypotenuse connects the line going south, and the line going west. now label it.
South line, is 100km/hr
west line, is 25km/hr.
Remember A^2+B^2=C^2? use that.
100^2+25^2=10,625.
where 10,625 is C^2.
take the square root. you get
103.07764km/hr
or just 103km/hr
